Working with The Land Trust and Pleasley Pit committee, we were asked to provide premises for a new visitors centre, to allow for increased catering and café.
Facilities including a full working kitchen, large seating area and space for a shop or displays. There was also a need for a separate teaching space or community room, plus WC facilities to support the use and a separate office. We were also asked as part of the project to provide, external toilet block to be used if the visitors facility was closed.
Our scope was for a full turn key package to include the delivery and installation of the building, full external and ground works, timber cladding, car parking and fencing. We set the building into the ground to reduce heights and to allow for level approaches to all doors and remove the need for steps and ramps.
